Barbecuing and sleeping in the vineyard – the unfiltered way

When I say that MotoVino Adventures is about riding to the roots of wine, I mean it quite literally, which is why part of the journey is to sleep in the vineyard.

I do it to get a deeper sense of the place. Spending the night on the ground gives you access to an emotional dimension you couldn't create in any other way.

There is just something about going to sleep and waking up among the vines that stays with afterwards, and it's my belief that it makes me understand the wine better as a result.

Naturally, a nice barbecue in the vineyard with the winemaker himself makes the experience even more profound. We had a whole night of inspiring conversations around the campfire as the sun set, and the moon and stars appeared in the sky.

It was indeed a magical night in the vineyard of Brunnenhäuschen in the middle of Rheinhessen, Germany. I was amazed at the view, and I can still feel the atmosphere of the vineyard when I think of it.
