Village life is quality life
To Benedikt Schnürr, life in his home town is way better than life in the city.
If you ask Benedikt Schnürr about city life, he would say he finds it limiting compared to life in Gundersheim. He simply has more freedom to do what he wants in the village, and he wouldn't trade it for anything.
In particular, he is fond of the close relationship he has with everyone living there and the spontaneous life style of stopping by each other's houses for a quick chat before moving on in their daily tasks.
And, as he says, they don't lack anything in order to survive. They have all the food they need and all necessary infrastructure to live a high quality life. It's by all means a way of living he loves.
